AI & Human Review Policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Artificial intelligence is an important part of how Straduct researches, analyses and organises market and competitive information.

AI is not the final decision-maker.

AI assists. Evidence supports. Humans decide.

This policy explains how Straduct uses AI-assisted systems, the limitations of AI-generated information and the role of human review when using Straduct outputs.

1. How Straduct uses AI

Straduct may use artificial intelligence, machine-learning systems and large language models as part of research and intelligence workflows.

Depending on the feature, AI may assist with:

  • researching companies, competitors and markets;
  • extracting structured information from source material;
  • classifying and organising evidence;
  • summarising research material;
  • identifying patterns, changes and potentially relevant signals;
  • comparing current and historical intelligence;
  • analysing search and AI visibility;
  • supporting specialist intelligence workflows;
  • generating draft findings and recommendations;
  • prioritising information for review; and
  • supporting reports and executive summaries.

The specific AI systems, models and service providers used by Straduct may change as technology develops and as we improve the platform.

Relevant production service providers will be described where appropriate in our Data Processing & Subprocessors information.

2. AI transparency

Where a user directly interacts with an AI system through Straduct, we aim to make it clear that the interaction is AI-assisted or AI-generated.

Interactive AI functionality may therefore display notices such as:

AI-assisted interaction
You are interacting with an AI system. Responses may be incomplete or incorrect. Review important information and supporting evidence before acting.

Transparency notices may also be displayed alongside AI-assisted reports, recommendations, summaries or other outputs where appropriate.

EU transparency requirements applying to certain interactive and generative AI systems form part of our approach to AI transparency.

3. Human review is required

Straduct is designed as a decision-support and intelligence platform.

AI-generated or AI-assisted output should not automatically be treated as a verified fact, final recommendation or professional judgement.

Important outputs should be reviewed by an appropriately qualified or responsible person before action is taken.

This is particularly important where an output could affect:

  • legal or regulatory obligations;
  • employment or personnel matters;
  • financial commitments;
  • contractual relationships;
  • cybersecurity decisions;
  • reputation or public communications;
  • customer or supplier relationships; or
  • the rights or interests of individuals.

4. Evidence before action

Where possible, Straduct is designed to connect important intelligence findings with supporting evidence or source material.

Evidence may include source URLs, company websites, public records, news material, professional sources, search results or other relevant information.

Users should review relevant evidence before relying on an important finding.

A source may itself contain inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading information. The presence of a source reference therefore does not guarantee that a claim is correct.

5. Limitations of AI

Artificial intelligence systems have important limitations.

AI-generated or AI-assisted information may:

  • contain factual errors;
  • misinterpret a source;
  • omit important context;
  • produce outdated information;
  • combine unrelated facts;
  • generate unsupported statements;
  • misclassify information;
  • fail to identify relevant evidence;
  • reflect limitations or biases in underlying data; or
  • appear more confident than the available evidence justifies.

These limitations are sometimes referred to as hallucination, model error, inference error or uncertainty.

Straduct attempts to reduce these risks through structured research, evidence handling, comparison, specialist analysis and human review, but no AI system can guarantee error-free output.

6. Recommendations and actions

Straduct may generate or assist in generating recommendations, suggested actions or priorities.

These are intended to help users identify potential next steps.

They are not instructions that must automatically be followed.

Before acting, users should consider the supporting evidence, their organisation's circumstances, risks, objectives and any required professional advice.

AI-assisted analysis — human review required.
Straduct may use AI and external source material. Outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. Review supporting evidence and apply appropriate professional judgement before acting.

7. Regulatory intelligence

Straduct may identify laws, regulatory developments, policy changes or compliance-related information that could potentially be relevant to a business.

These are intelligence signals, not determinations of legal applicability or compliance.

Regulatory signal — not legal advice.
This information may be relevant to your business but is not a complete statement of your legal or compliance obligations. Verify applicable requirements with qualified legal or compliance professionals before acting.

Straduct may use language such as:

  • potentially relevant;
  • requires review;
  • possible impact;
  • verify applicability; or
  • professional review recommended.

Straduct should not be treated as determining that an organisation is legally compliant, non-compliant or legally safe solely on the basis of AI analysis.

8. No professional advice

Straduct provides market and competitive intelligence and decision-support information.

It is not a substitute for qualified professional advice.

Straduct does not provide legal, regulatory, compliance, tax, accounting, financial, investment, employment, cybersecurity, medical or other regulated professional advice.

Where specialist advice is appropriate, users should consult a suitably qualified professional.

9. Decisions affecting individuals

Straduct is not intended to be used as the sole basis for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

Users should not rely solely on Straduct AI output to make consequential decisions concerning, for example:

  • employment;
  • credit or lending;
  • insurance;
  • access to essential services;
  • contractual rights;
  • legal rights;
  • disciplinary decisions; or
  • other similarly significant matters.

Appropriate human assessment and any legally required safeguards must be applied.

10. Audience Discovery and AI

AI may assist with organising, filtering, classifying or enriching publicly available professional or business information used in Audience Discovery.

AI classification does not establish that a person is definitely a suitable lead, customer or prospect.

Users should independently assess relevance before using exported information.

Customers remain responsible for ensuring that subsequent use of audience information complies with applicable data protection law, direct marketing requirements, contractual obligations and third-party platform rules.

11. Platform-managed and customer-managed AI

Where supported, Straduct may offer different ways of accessing AI functionality.

These may include AI services managed by Straduct or AI services configured through a customer's own account, credentials, private endpoint or other supported arrangement.

Where external AI processing is involved, selected prompts, research material, evidence or workspace context may need to be transmitted to the relevant AI provider to produce the requested result.

The information transmitted depends on the feature being used and the selected configuration.

Workspace administrators should review the relevant disclosure before enabling optional AI functionality.

12. User responsibility

Users are responsible for how they use Straduct outputs.

This includes responsibility for:

  • reviewing significant findings;
  • checking supporting evidence;
  • considering whether information is current;
  • applying appropriate business and professional judgement;
  • seeking professional advice where required;
  • ensuring that exported data is used lawfully; and
  • not representing AI-generated information as verified fact where it has not been verified.

13. AI and personal data

AI functionality may involve the processing of personal data where such information forms part of a permitted research source, workspace context or user input.

The processing of personal data through Straduct is governed by our Privacy Notice.

Information about relevant service providers will be made available through our Data Processing & Subprocessors information.

14. Sensitive and confidential information

Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal data, confidential information, credentials, passwords or secrets into AI features.

Only information reasonably required for the relevant task should be provided.

Workspace administrators should consider their organisation's own confidentiality, security and data-handling requirements before enabling or using external AI services.

15. Provider and model changes

AI technology develops rapidly.

Straduct may change AI models, providers, configurations or technical approaches in order to improve quality, performance, reliability, security or compliance.

A change in provider or model may affect the style, quality, latency, cost or behaviour of an AI-assisted feature.

Where a change materially affects privacy or data processing arrangements, relevant notices and processor information will be updated as appropriate.

16. Monitoring and improvement

Straduct may evaluate AI-assisted functionality to improve reliability, reduce errors and detect inappropriate behaviour.

Evaluation may include testing prompts, reviewing system behaviour, assessing output quality, validating evidence handling and monitoring operational performance.

Such activities remain subject to applicable privacy, confidentiality and security requirements.

17. Reporting a problem

If you believe a Straduct AI output is materially inaccurate, misleading, unsafe or inappropriate, please report it to us.

Useful information may include the relevant feature, report, research run or output and a description of the concern.
